About Me!

Hi there. I’m Jay.

I am a Master’s prepared Registered Nurse with experience in the banking and finance industry. I have five total degrees ranging from Nursing, Arts, Biology, and Biomedical Science. Welcome and it is nice to meet you!

I’ve spent the past twelve years in higher education and in multiple industries for work. My studies have put me through programming, health and biomedical sciences, among other generalized education. My working life has taken me through careers such as manufacturing, retail, customer service, finance and banking, laboratory science, and nursing. Many times it felt like I was failing to find a direction. The apprehension of making the wrong choice was paralyzing. But, I did not let that stop me from picking a direction and gaining forward momentum, even if that direction or momentum was not a permanent solution.

So, I just kept learning.

I’ve shared my information regarding financial wellness with others in my life whom have made positive change with the information. So I wanted to continue to share what I’ve learned in the hopes it helps someone else.

I aim to create highly informative, useful, and organized information to help others. Maybe we can make progress a little bit faster together.

I want to create a space which allows people to do three things:

  • Talk about Finances and Financial Wellness for the sake of personal goals
  • Provide kind knowledge to inform, educate, and inspire
  • Motivate all to make positive changes

Many people I have discussed these topics with have told me they feel behind others, like they should be doing something more than they are, or that they feel like they are missing some important information everyone else seems to have but they do not.

This sounds like the start of a very passionate personal goal and if you are already here reading today, you are doing something about it and have already taken the first steps! Build on this momentum!

Essentially, I hope everyone can realize one thing:

If starting your personal goal seems daunting, trust me when I say, starting is truly the hardest part.

So start today.

From my mind to yours,

~Jay
